It was a beautiful practice with my new women friends at the shelter. I had five students today, and they all did an amazing practice. Lots of laughter and giggles, and even more PRIDE for a job well done on their mats. I thank all of them for letting me into their lives.
I think it is so wonderful that you do this! I've read about some yoga teacher from NY who worked with women in shelters and found it really boosted the women's self esteem.
